President and Founder

Shannon moves seamlessly across disciplines — equally at home as creative director, PR strategist, art director, copywriter and business marketer. As founding president of MILK, she sets the foundation for an agency that does not separate between strong strategy, compelling creative and healthy business results.

Starting as a copywriter at Fjord Digital, a division of Cossette, Shannon scripted radio spots for Prospera Credit Union, crafted taglines for McDonald’s billboards and developed website copy for Bell Media. Her passion for art led her to New York City, where she managed PR projects for Deutsche Bank, Pulse Art Fair, Prospect 1 New Orleans and Lehmann Maupin Gallery before returning to Vancouver in 2008 to launch her own firm, Heth PR — rebranded as MILK Creative Communications in 2016 to serve local, national and international brands.

After graduating with first-class honours in LLB Law with European Law in 2018, Daniel moved to Seoul for a time before working as a copywriter for a year and a half with a variety of tourism boards, luxury brands, and corporate entities. Following this, Daniel returned to London and specialised in luxury and travel PR, launching brands to new markets and securing key national, digital, trade and broadcast coverage for global hotel groups, tourism boards, airlines, FTSE 500 companies, consumer brands, and more across the world.

Daniel has worked with a number of luxury brands, including the launch of Balmain’s collaboration with Pullman Hotels in London in 2022. Other brands Daniel has worked with include: Fairmont (and The Savoy by Fairmont), Sofitel, Uvence, and Wolfgang Puck. He has organised and managed media events, campaign and partnership launches, influencer outreach programmes and global PR campaigns with reaches of over 170 million. In this time, Daniel has developed a fabulous network of media and influencer contacts across the world in order to secure coverage tailored precisely to each client.

Ruby is known for developing strong relationships and creative strategies with clients. After studying theatre at George Brown College in Toronto, Ruby moved west and found her passion for social media, quickly gaining a following on Youtube and Instagram. She then began working at Town Hall Brands, promoting lifestyle brands in the hospitality and packaged goods industries. Still active in the influencer community, Ruby handles Western Canada media relations for MILK.

Aline relocated to Vancouver in September 2022 from her hometown of Beirut, Lebanon. After earning her undergraduate degree in Economics, she began working in marketing which inspired her to pursue her MBA at her alma mater, the Lebanese American University, focusing on Marketing and Management. She later worked in event planning and marketing before shifting to freelance Social Media Management full time in 2020, serving clients in Beirut, Dubai, Los Angeles, Montreal and London.

In the pursuit of a better future, Aline decided to move to Vancouver and apply her creative skills and experience in a completely different market; one where she’s also been able to pursue her interest in PR. Having started off as a Social Media contractor for MILK Creative Communications in early 2023, Aline is currently the PR + Social Media Coordinator at the agency.

She has over a decade of marketing and communications experience, developing social media strategy for clients ranging from The Four Seasons to Mission Hill Winery.
